I am an associate professor in Mathematics at Lehman College, and a doctoral faculty memeber at the CUNY Graduate Center. I develop combinatorial, geometric, and statistical methods and algorithms for analyzing non-Euclidean data, particularly tree-shaped data. My work has applications to evolutionary biology and medical imaging, and often uses data from both these areas.
My research is partially supported by an NSF CAREER grant, Geometric and Statistical Analysis for Tree-Shaped Data, 2019-2024.
I'm a member of the Treespace Working Group.
