Starting Tue May 5 students will present their ongoing work for the
final projects:
- There should be good progress on using HDRI, Pans and Focal
Stacking to create compositions.
- The student will be graded on their expertise for capture and
processing of the images.
- The student will be expected to explain the problems
encountered in capturing the image.
- If there are mistakes in the processed image the student
should explain how they will modify the capture process.
- Explain how ambient conditions affected the work.
- Explain why hdri, panning or focal stacking was
needed to obtain your results.
- Indicate which software was used and limitations.
- Indicate other software you might use.
- Explain the process you used to create the image. Will you
change it.
- The student will be graded on the effectiveness and facility
of the presentation.
- Credit will be taken off if the student has not set up their
equipment so that it works efficiently in the presentation.
- The student should not have to do processing during the
presentation.
- The student should have all the hardware necessary to hook
to either the lab computers or my laptop.
- Students will be called randomly.
- If the student is absent without a valid reason they
will lose a grade (A->B) etc). They will be called again
in the next class and graded according to this rubric.
- If they are late they will be called again during that
class and lose half a grade (A->A-).
- If they are unprepared when called they will lose a grade
- The originality of their work will be considered
in the grade.
- Use of designated practice sites used in classroom shoots
will not get a high grade
