As MAT 782 students, you must also independently learn about a non-parametric test and present your findings to me (5% of course grade)
Presentation Details:
- choose one non-parametric or distribution free tests, such as a permutation test, Fisher exact test, Wilcoxon rank test, or other test of your choice (except Chi Squared test which we will do in class), and explain when the test would be used, how to perform the test, and any caveats about the test.
- although I will be the only audience, aim your presentation at the level of other masters students. I will also ask a few questions at the end of it.
- length: approximately 15 minutes
- email me (megan dot owen at lehman dot cuny dot edu) to arrange a time outside of class to make your presentation. It must be on or before Monday Dec. 17, 2018
- Unfortunately the non-parametric test section of the Kerns textbook is not finished. Here are some alternatives:
