Outline

In this course we will learn about symmetries and geometries.  The course will meet once a week on Thursday from 11-1 and occasionally on Tuesdays.   I will lecture and/or the students will make presentations of material in class.  The extra meetings will be so that all students can present.  There will be substantial assignments to justify the four credits.  There will be a term paper.  The final grade will be based on the term paper and the classroom presentations.

I will assume a working knowledge of calculus and some basic algebra and complex numbers.
