Grading:  Grades will be determined by assignments of   homework.  This will count for 1/3 of the grade. There will be a midterm project that will count for 1/3 of the grade. There will also be a final project that will count for 1/3 of the grade. All work must be handed in by Dec 13, 2006 to count toward the grade.

Academic Integrity:  Students may discuss assignments with each other but must carry out their work independently.  I will check students work during the laboratory to see that each student is doing his or her own work.  If there are big discrepancies between classwork and work handed in, I will assume that students have had others do their work for them.   Students will not receive credit for work that is not done independently.

Homework Assignments: Work can be emailed to me.  I will also bring a flash drive to class to copy students assignments.  The subject of the email should be “homework assignment – date”  where date is the due date of the homework, even if the homework is late.  I will accept late homework, but grades for late homework will be lower than for homework handed in on time.
