The National Science Foundation funds this program. The following are requirements that they set and the program has no discretion over them. Scholarship recipients must be:
Preference will be given to undergraduate applicants who have finished
the basic skills courses and the following first year courses (requirements
differ by major) with a grade point average of 2.8 or higher:
