Link Floer Homology and (almost) braids
Fraser Binns (Princeton)
Abstract: Link Floer homology is a link invariant due to Ozsváth-Szabó. It is natural to ask what topological infomation link Floer homology encodes. Martin showed that Link Floer homology detects braids. In this talk I will discuss a generalisation of this result to “almost braids”. This is work in progress with Subhankar Dey.
