office hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays 3 to 4 pm and by appointment (or happenstance), 137-I Gillet Hall
This is a four credit course. You should expect to spend at least eight hours per week outside of class on this course.
I expect students to be on time for class.
The Fundamentals of Information Systems, 6E, Stair and Reynolds, CENGAGE Learning, ISBN: 978-0-8400-6218-5.
There will be two in class midterms and a final. Each will count 25% of your grade. The remainder will be homework and quizzes. If you do better on the final than your class average, I will count the final as 40% of your grade, diminishing the other components proportionately.
